AEEC Coloring Contest Auburn Early Education Center

A coloring contest was held at each of the elementary schools in Auburn and at the Auburn Early Education Center for the December performances of "The Nutcracker."

The page to be colored was a single sheet that consisted of several characters from The Nutcracker, including Clara and The Nutcracker Prince.

At each school, a winner was announced for grades 1-2 and 3-5, and LynnTerra Ballet gave away a total of 24 free tickets to the contest winners.

Each winner had a choice of attending the Saturday evening performance or the Sunday matinee.

It is the desire of LynnTerra Ballet Company to involve more school's in the community in future outreach endeavors.

Educational Outreach

One purpose of LynnTerra Ballet Company is to promote interest in dance by holding educational workshops, programs and lecture demonstrations.

LynnTerra Ballet is a wonderful draw to the performing arts for locals as well as visitors.

Excerpts from “The Nutcracker” have been performed by our

company members at the Auburn Early Education Center and all Auburn elementary schools. We have also performed for an afterschool program in the Lee County School System. It’s our desire to expand this educational outreach into more schools in the community as our performing company grows.
