Tea Party
The 2008 Nutcracker Tea Party will be held on Sunday, November 23, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the EAMC HealthResource Center (across from East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika). The fee for the Tea Party is $5.00.
Tickets for the tea party can be purchased at the door, Southern Crossing in Opelika, Heartstrings in Auburn, and from 3-6p.m. at Auburn School of Dance and Performing Arts.
Appropriate ages for participation are 11 and under. Of course everyone is welcome! The children can have pictures made with some of the Nutcracker dancers at no charge. Then they will do crafts, have a Nutcracker sweet and watch performances by some of the dancers.
Nutcracker Ticket Information
Nutcracker Tickets for Nutcracker performances will be available beginning in mid-November. They can be purchased through the Arts Association of East Alabama at 1032 South Railroad Avenue in Opelika (334-705-5546) or the Auburn School of Dance and Performing Arts at 1875 Mall Blvd in Auburn (334-501-0901). Both locations will take cash, checks or credit cards. Tickets will also be available at the door based on availability. Other ticket locations may become available.
